I have three flight simulators, P3D V4.5 and v5, X Plane 11 and FS2020. So, at this point I'll continue using X-Plane 11 for Jet Airliners and MSFS 2020 for GA flying. I still see MSFS 2020 needing another 6 to 12 months to mature (The 2nd update patch was 16GB addressing issues raised by the flight sim community). X-Plane 11 is still leaps and bounds ahead when it comes to flying jet airliners - specifically because we have the 3rd party pay aircraft (e.g Toliss A319) and the excellent free Zibo 737-800 mod. However, Bing Maps needs a major update! Some of the maps are out of date 5 or more years. MSFS 2020 is quite good for GA flying because of the great visuals, and the airports / cities with photogrammetry textures look very nice (e.g New York, Zurich). Thankfully a free A320 addon is being worked on by the Flight Sim Community to make it more realistic. You would be better saving your money to buy a 3rd party study level aircraft when they come out - eg PMDG 737-800. The Jet Airliners are certainly not study level aircraft ( so many buttons inoperable). The hand built airports are not that great and the Jet Airliners are not worth paying additional money for at this point. I have the Premium Deluxe version and advise anyone wanting to get the Sim to get the Regular version only. Microsoft Scenery Simulator was released still in a Beta phase.
